Tekle and her young daughter, Ema, return from abroad to visit Dalia, Tekle’s mother. When Ema goes out to walk her dog, Dalia, fearing something terrible might happen to her granddaughter, starts looking for her. The film was screened at Locarno.

Laurynas Bareiša

He graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in Applied Mathematics from Vilnius University and in Cinematography from the Lithuanian Academy of Music and Theatre. He also completed a Master’s Degree in Film Directing. He directed several shorts: Dembava (2014) and By the Pool, which premiered at Venice in 2017. Caucasus is his second film since graduation.
