Júlia decides to go on an Erasmus exchange to Berlin. She will leave home for the first time without giving it a second thought, lunging herself into adventure. The cold and grey city will give her a frostier welcome than expected and her expectations will clash with reality: her existence will seem far removed from the new life she had dreamt of in the lecture rooms of the Barcelona School of Architecture. Júlia ist is director’s debut feature film and it won the awards for best film and director at the Málaga Festival and was also screened at San Sebastián in 2017.
