I am very glad to present for the second year in a row a small selection of films that had their premiere just recently at the 75th Venice Film Festival. Each year a dozen films are chosen among over 1500 entries in order to be part of Orizzonti Corti in Venice. The program featured here at Zagreb Film Festival aims to show the audience a glimpse of what we consider the best and most varied contemporary cinematic short film experience available nowadays for films under 20 minutes in length. Although the selection is small in numbers, every year the Festival presents short films from different countries and continents as well as of different genres, usually trying to cover the whole spectrum: from dramas to animation, from comedies to documentaries.
